Carolyn L. Ross
Carolyn lives half the year in England, half in Chatham and the other half traveling and painting. Yes, I know that's more than a year, but somehow she has the energy to do it! And her paintings show that energy and enthusiasm for life. Also, see the tribute to her illustrator father.
The Soft Earth
This local potter has done some beautiful work using mud from the bottom of the ocean (and other unusual places) as glazes.
Fun(d)Raising Players
This small troupe has put together some great shows to help other organizations raise money.

The museum publishes books of local interest, restores old wooden boats, sponsors craft workshops, and hosts a series of lectures (conversations) of local interest.
